Green beans, red potatoes and cottage ham recipe? - fresh ham recipes
I want to do green beans with red potatoes and ham, my grandmother's house the way to fix it. Has anyone a good recipe? I have about 3 pounds fresh green beans to a boil. Thank you!

Cottage Ham

I grew up eating ham house, has a pot meals with my mother, green beans - instead of coal - the range of braised smoked pork and potatoes. Ham is the home of meat, bones, and is sold at $ 3.99 per pound or less.
1 roll of smoked pork shoulder, 1 1 / 2 to 2 pounds
1 onion, peeled
1 bay leaf
1 1 / 2 tablespoons sugar
6 to 8 peppercorns, crushed
4 to 6 potatoes, red skin, unpeeled
1 pound green beans
Place pork in large pot with a tight-fitting lid. Cover with water. Add bay leaf, onion, pepper and sugar. Cover and cook the meat for 45 minutes per pound.
Halve the potatoes when they are large. Thirty minutes before the meat is cooked the potatoes in the pan.
Remove ham to a platter and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before carving. Add bean pot while resting the meat and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, but depends on the size and age of tBeans and how you like them cooked.
Serve with mustard sauce, preferably while the fine-grained variety.

2 cups yellow wax beans, trimmed

Smashed red potatoes Garlicy.
Ingredients;
6 red-skinned potatoes, washed and unpeeled
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 / 4 cup low-fat, vegetables, low sodium stock
1 tablespoon low-fat yogurt
1Chopped scallions
1 / 4 c. Tea salt, pepper and nutmeg
Preparation;
1. Sliced potatoes in 1 1 / 2 inch pieces. Boil potatoes and garlic in salted water until tender, about 10 to 15 minutes. Drainage. Place the saucepan over low heat to dry potatoes, stirring occaisionally.
2. The hot soup and yogurt. Use and potato masher, coarsely pureed. The mixture should look crumbly. Add chopped onions and spices. Makes 4 servings.

1 16 ounces pinto beans
1 16 oz black beans
1 16 ounces Black-Eyed Peas
1 16 ounces Great Northern beans, kidney beans (or white)
1 16 ounces kidney beans
1 can of Progresso Lentil Soup
6 liters of water
2 medium onions, coarsely chopped
1 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
2 garlic cloves, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
A pinch of ginger
2 stalks celery, split lengthwise
1 / 2 pound Ditalini noodles (cooked)
Salt and pepper to taste
Place ham bone, pieces of meat, celery,chopped garlic, ginger,
and onions in a large pot (10 qt). Approx. 6
Liters of water when the boat is about 3 / 4 full. Cover the
slightly off-center, so that steam can escape. Boil over medium-high --
