Why are my sugar cookies coming out like this? - hand decorated cookies
I bake and decorate a dozen sugar cookies for the birthday of my daughter. I trained only in a cookie instead of Crown Princess, but still leave the appearance of the hand! Originally I thought I was the use of mixture thickens to the right, when I ride super thin, but I would be thicker! I tested the consistency of the dough, but can not right? Proposals for a first time baker?

When using flavored spread of oil or butter will melt and the final mass to the outside.
You should not have the dough too thin or too fat .. rarely .. if too thin or thick as his. But it also depends on cookies. like the recipe said it would be the size, while in the oven increased. Coz I cut sugar cookies ... well, until now, I'm OK. Also I think it was a little too thin for his taste ... but it was OK. Experimenting on him. could also be the size of the cookie. But usually not too big ... because there is hardly any difference. Have fun, the experience is good =)
