In the U.S., we mean "uh-Claire", and say most of my European friends: "AHLC-rah." The first is the most commonly used where I live, so they tend to the United States speak, when I spoke someone who has the second form - while respecting the difference and the debate;)

CLA say rah. I do not like any CLARE-ah. Furthermore, I am an American, and certainly in the minority in this debate. One of my favorite names.

I have a cousin, Kara, and everybody called Kare-ah, I think annyoing. Cara also know, and everyone calls her CA-rah, so I think it should be. It's the same thing with Aaron and Erin - I repeat, and EH-Rin-Rin, but everybody says, I know that the air in both cases.

Yes, it is fair to say the name. For me, it sounds pretty CLAIR-uh. It's really one of my favorites. When I say I like Sarah AHLC but sounds very much out of me. One of my options, I believe, America.

In England it is like the word "shall" (as in, "as pronounced you"), but with cl "in the issue and the" a "at the end, perhaps one of them, but would come closer to AHLC-rah-Claire ah

The Aussie way:) Coz I am Aussie, and sounds much better. Of course ... The Americans have the ability to lose everything, even the pronunciation of names, and it seemed that, as Claire
